Do you have any tutorials for when cargodist is enabled? I.e. when passengers have a preferred destination?

OpenTTD dev here. Thanks for all your tutorials and community-building work. It's always heartening to see our work being enjoyed in the wild. I love your idea to promote and teach free (and often open source) games. I look forward to seeing what you do next. Personally, I would love to learn to play Simutrans! It's been suggested by a few other people here, as an OpenTTD-adjacent games with some different features, but I've never managed to figure it out. Another possible addition to your list is Endless Sky, an open-source space adventure and fleet-building game available on Steam.

I downloaded my version of OpenTTD from Steam. I played TT years ago off CD and loved it. Now 20+ years on i got an old gaming laptop, powerful one. Can I still get access to all these settings and mods. I don’t remember being any of these settings years ago. Any advise much appreciated.

Playing Steeltown for the first time this week, it was pretty overwhelming at first but think I’m getting the hang of it now! Just produced my first vehicles which felt like an achievement.

Hard to choose, fun business challenge is most enjoying uncomplicated play, other OK. Idea for futute maybr a boat/air challeng islands no bridges allowed, road tram challenge, artic climate challenge, OpenLoco series ?

In a similar vain there's also the game warfork (based on warsow). The youtuber HTwo made a video about it in August of last year and that's where I found out about the game. It's fun for game nights and I prefer it over xonotic because its movement system allows for even faster and more frantic movement. Me and my friend group hosted some game nights playing it and it has been very fun. Xonotic itself is also very good, but I just don't like the quake 3 arena movement. Warfork is also free and available on steam and has a discord server where they organize map playtest game nights.

I have only discovered your channel yesterday, and you already have convinced me to download OpenTTD and spend the better part of my day building train tracks and roads. No matter what you focus on, if you keep this same excitement, energy, thinking, and focus your channel will grow along with all the open-source projects you explore. Making the exploration/mastery a sincere excitement and thrill makes listening to you very encouraging and reassuring in the dark, sometime unknown waters of strategy gaming (me this morning knowing nothing about OpenTTD).
